Looking to elevate your organization, and bring it to the next level? Bring on students from TorontoMet (formerly Ryerson University) in the Physical/Life Sciences Department to be your virtual interns, in a project-based experience. Students will work on one or more projects of your choosing over the internship period, connecting with you as needed.

Students in this program are poised to succeed in the integrated work areas of: Biology, Biomedical Science, Chemistry, Medical Physics.

Students are required to complete a minimum of 420 hours of placement between May to August for the Spring/Summer term.

These students are looking for exclusively paid co-op placements. As such, please do not request to work with this program unless your organization is able to offer paid opportunities.

Students are available to work in-person or virtually.

Deliverables will vary depending on the scope of the internship. However, these deliverables must be discussed and agreed upon prior to the start of the internship.

Students can complete a substantial project for your organization over the placement period. We suggest providing a starting project, but as the placement goes on there may be other duties or projects the student is asked to complete as well. Providing a central project creates structure for the internship, and gives the student (and company) a tangible goal.
