Learners are participants of the M2M DataTalent Program. They have recently completed training and gained practical, hands-on experience in Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, and Algorithm Design. The program is developed in collaboration with employers and workforce development experts, to empower job-seekers to swiftly transition into data-driven roles.
The DataTalent program offers Comprehensive Technical Upskilling for Learners and provides Canadian employers the opportunity to connect with outstanding data professionals through fully subsidized internships. This collaborative model, delivered in partnership with Riipen, supports employers to build their talent pipeline, tackle immediate business challenges, expand their capabilities, and enhance their brand presence.

Participants have recently completed training and gained practical, hands-on experience in Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, and Algorithm Design.
They can deliver projects including but not limited to:
- Data Analysis and Research
- Sales Forecasting Analysis
- Pricing Model Development
- Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Application
- SQL and Database Management
- Data Visualization and Statistical Analysis
Deliverables will vary depending on the project scope. At the conclusion of the project they will have assets that can be used to further your business goals.
Note: If participants are completing confidential work they can still submit work on the platform by uploading redacted samples, using the worklog feature, and writing a brief project reflection. In this case, we might also recommend that you have the participants sign an NDA before starting your project. You can use the Agreements feature to do this.

- Projects should be approximately 80 hours in length per participant and are to be completed over a 8 week period.
- Each project should require the contributions of 3-4 participants (240-320 hours in total).
- Given the nature of DataTalent, we require project-based experience. If your project looks like a job posting, we cannot accept it. Please provide a concrete scope for the participant’s work and limit their work to a specific project.
- We have pinned an example project template to this experience which you can use as a starting point.
- If you choose to use a template from our library, ensure that you have added as much context for your business needs as possible. Our team will not accept any projects that were created from a template without sufficient customization.

I understand that I must provide ongoing mentorship and guidance to the participant team that is working on my project. I must be responsive to any questions, and check in on progress to help ensure a good result.
I will evaluate the participants' final project submissions within 5 business days, offering feedback that can be utilized by the participants to strengthen their resumes and LinkedIn profiles.
I understand that I must complete the DataTalent program exit survey and approve project deliverables submitted by learner(s) at the conclusion of the project. I acknowledge that participation in this program requires a commitment to completing this survey and failure to do so may result in my inability to post new projects.
