- Develop and lead group fitness classes with modifications as necessary
- Employ risk management strategies to deal with issues such as safety, security, public health and liability

- Demonstrate proficiency in the application of fitness and health promotion skills and competencies as required by the workplace.
- Display a sound theoretical foundation by adapting programs, interventions, and services to meet clients' individual needs and abilities.
- Demonstrate the utmost respect for the client's wellbeing and autonomy by ensuring all safety measures are strictly enforced while providing services.
- Maintain appropriate dress standards and demonstrate exemplary punctuality and preparedness in all aspects of the workplace.
- Effectively communicate changes in work schedules when necessary.
- Apply effective time management and organizational skills and set realistic priorities.
- Display the highest level of responsibility, integrity, and accountability concerning the assigned duties.
- Demonstrate effective and professional verbal, nonverbal, written, and electronic communication that contains little to no errors.
- Display the highest level of confidentiality as appropriate to the workplace environment.
- Respect differences related to cultural and human diversity when using verbal, nonverbal, written, and electronic communication.
