Exigances
Based on a design brief provided by your company and feedback provided at the mid-point of the project period, six teams of four Master's level students in Professional Communication will each create a brand style guide that will include:
- a logo/wordmark with usage guidelines
- colour guidelines
- typeface guidelines
- digital guidelines and examples (eg. social media post, website landing page)
- print and physical guidelines and examples (eg. letterhead, business cards, posters)
Your company will benefit by receiving approximately 3 different brand style guides tailored to your mission, target audience, and values. You may choose to hire students to continue to develop, refine, and apply the brand style guide at the end of the project.
Project examples that students can complete may include, but are not limited to:
- design research and development
- digital design using Adobe CC: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- user testing and evaluation
