Bring on one or more students from the University of Windsor to be your virtual interns! Students will work on one or more projects of your choosing over the placement period, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools.

Students will be available for a part-time placement of 96 hours from January 2021 to April 2021. Their scheduling is flexible meaning the hours could be spread out over the whole 4 month period or bunched at the start - please discuss with the individual student.

Program outline

Undergraduate students who have fully completed their second year or third year may choose to participate in this course. When approving a project, we make sure the students are doing work appropriate for a third-year level (i.e. meaningful, provide opportunities to learn and be actively involved) and will allow them to make connections between their placement experiences and other science courses they have taken. Students can only be signed in to the course (by Michelle Bondy) once they have an approved project. Students are available from the following programs:

Faculty of Science:

  • Biomedical Sciences
  • Environmental Science/Studies
  • Physics
  • Mathematics and Statistics
  • Computer Science
  • Integrative Biology
  • Forensic Sciences
