Organizations must adapt to changes to ensure their continuity. Students in the Operations Management program come from a variety of professional backgrounds, often with years of experience and are aware of local, regional, national, and international trends that could

impact an organization’s operations. Using complex problem-solving techniques, students will analyze your organization's operations, identify the root causes of your challenges, and make recommendations for solutions. Students will:


  1. Apply complex problem-solving to identify and distinguish the root causes of problems.
  2. Analyze, assess, and select appropriate solutions to business situations.
  3. Determine if the chosen solutions are viable.
  4. Develop an implementation plan for the recommendations.
  5. Evaluate outcomes and revise plans as necessary.
  6. Deliver a summary of their analysis using effective presentation techniques and strategies.
  7. Apply simulation modelling, where possible, to analyze and improve operational efficiency.
