These Genetics stream students are well versed with all the latest tools of gene and genome editing and some double major in Statistics or Neuroscience. There is no strict limit on the group size, it could also be individual students if that works better.

Our students have developed a strong theoretical foundation for working in the field of biotechnology. They are well versed in the latest gene and genome engineering tools, recent advances in living therapeutics, including immunotherapies, RNA-based therapies as well as viral and non-viral vehicles for gene and drug delivery.

Exigances
Students can work individually, or in groups (any size).
Research projects related to drug design, gene editing, immunotherapy or stem cells & regenerative medicine.
Any tools and techniques that they can learn and then carry out independently or within a group. It can include drug screening, transgenics, cell, tissue and organoid cultures. Most beneficial is the exposure to the work environment and the insights gained from working within a biotech startup.
Interns can engage in such roles as:
- Research & development
- Biomedical information gathering
- Market research
- Clinical development
- Regulatory affairs & compliance
- Data analysis
- Data gathering for strategic investments in the healthcare sector
