Are your organization's human resources management (HRM) practices up to date? Would you like to explore how to improve your HRM in our current and changing landscape? In this project, students will apply their knowledge of HRM techniques and procedures to your organizational context. They can assess a number areas such as staffing and maintenance of an efficient workforce, human resources (HR) in organizations, workforce planning, job analysis and evaluation, wage and salary administration, training and development, and performance evaluation systems. Specific attention will paid the areas most relevant to your organization's needs. Upon completion of the project, you will receive a detailed report and presentation.

Exemples de projets

Beginning in January, students in groups of 3-5 will work with your company to identify your needs and provide actionable recommendations, based on their in-depth research and analysis.

Project activities might include but are not limited to:

  • Discussing the issues and decisions involved in the strategic HR function of your organization.
  • Defining and analyzing complex HR issues and generating appropriate and implementable recommendations.
  • Examining and analyzing current HR issues and exploring their relevance to your organizational context.
  • Conducting business research.
