The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in Chinese and English and will be responsible for editing and creating engaging long and short videos from raw footage. These videos will be tailored for social media platforms, targeting individuals seeking Canadian school applications and immigration services. The project involves editing a series of short informational videos that explain immigration processes. The goal is to ensure the videos are culturally sensitive and linguistically accurate, providing clear and concise information to a diverse audience. This project offers a practical opportunity to blend technical skills with language expertise, focusing on creating visually appealing and informative videos that resonate with the target audience.

The project deliverables include 5-10 bilingual videos edited to professional standards. The videos should be fully subtitled in Chinese and English, with synchronized audio and visual elements. A brief report detailing the editing process, challenges faced, and solutions implemented should also be submitted.

Duties:

1. Edit raw video footage into high-quality, engaging content tailored for social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook).
2. Create 4-6 short-form videos (under 1 minute) and 3-4 long-form videos (up to 5 minutes) that effectively convey the message and engage the target audience.
3. Ensure all videos are edited in both Chinese and English, adapting subtitles, voiceovers, and captions to cater to bilingual audiences.
4. Work closely with the content creation team to understand project requirements and objectives.
5. Communicate progress and timelines effectively with the team to ensure timely delivery of videos.
