Strategic Partnership Development:

  • Proven ability to identify and establish strategic partnerships with sponsors aligning with BIA activities and festival goals.

Sponsor Prospecting:

  • Proficient in researching and identifying potential sponsors who share a synergy with our BIA initiatives.

Contact Management:

  • Experience in managing and maintaining a comprehensive list of potential sponsors, including their contact information and relevant details.

Communications:

  • Ability to create compelling and tailored sponsorship communications, showcasing the benefits and value proposition for potential sponsors.

Outreach Expertise:

  • Demonstrated success in conducting outreach to organizations, effectively conveying the vision and objectives of BIA activities with a persuasive and professional tone.


We would be seeking 2-3 team members to implement this project.

Livrables

Develop Sponsorship Prospect List:

  • Create a comprehensive list of potential sponsors, categorizing them based on relevance, industry alignment, company mission/sponsorship objectives and potential contribution to BIA initiatives.
  • Research potential sponsors for a range of activities aligned with the BIA's pillars--streetscape/public realm improvements, marketing including festivals, and economic development such as networking events.

Contact Management:

  • Establish and maintain a detailed database of potential sponsors, including key contacts, company information, and any relevant historical interactions.

Craft Compelling Sponsorship Content:

  • Discover case studies for developing customized and compelling sponsorship communications.
  • Create communications and visuals that highlight the unique value proposition BIA activities offer to potential sponsors.

Outreach Planning and Execution:

  • Plan and execute strategic outreach initiatives to potential sponsors.
  • Craft communication templates and emails.
  • Set up appointments with potential sponsors.
  • Convey the BIA's vision and objectives with a persuasive and professional tone.
  • Discover insights to add to our database of sponsors.


Mentorat
  • Ongoing guidance from Staff and the marketing manager, with availability for consultations and feedback.
  • Access to past data, marketing analytics, templates, and promotional examples.
  • Opportunities for mock presentations and strategy workshops with the BIA team.
  • Collaboration tools for real-time sharing and editing of marketing materials.
  • Short weekly check in via Zoom.
  • Business email addresses to be used in the project.
  • Online directory of the organization's business members.

The Yonge North York Business Improvement Area (BIA) was recently established and is one of over 80 BIAs in Toronto. Our organization is overseen by a voluntary Board of Directors from our business community. Representing over 1600 business and commercial property members, with over 30,000 employees and 51,000 residents within our district, we are one of the largest BIA’s in Toronto. Located along the Yonge corridor between Hwy 401 and just North of Finch Avenue, our urban district is experiencing significant development.
