Our company is currently developing a prototype for a native mobile application version of our current web-based product. We have a significant amount of web traffic to our service and would like to capture some of that user activity through a mobile application.

We would like a group of students to design a prototype mobile application for our current web based product.

This will involve:

• Conducting background research of existing web application for the product.
• Identify key areas of our current product and how they might translate to a mobile application.
• Learning the fundamentals of React Native.
• Learn and use various software design tools. We strongly recommend students learn how to use Figma as it is the latest and greatest tool currently available.
• Creation of a screen by screen UX / UI prototype of a native mobile application which can be used on both iOS and Android.

Students should complete the following activities by the end of the project:

• Learn how to use a design tool of their choice and become familiar with it. Figma is highly recommended.
• Assist in designing the necessary screens for our product's mobile application prototype using the design tool.
• Provide us the final design screens along with an understanding of all the decisions, issues, and suggested course of action that were made.

Final deliverables should include:

• The display design screens in a shareable format.

Throughout the project, students will be able to communicate directly with us for mentorship. We will be able to respond to inquiries like:

• Industry standard design tools and applications.
• Further understanding of the service.
• Provide feedback on choices, problems, or anything else the students may encounter.
