Project Scope

Who you are:

  • You’re looking for a career in Social Media marketing
  • You have a passion for creating great content
  • You are studying Business with a Marketing major or equivalent related college diploma
  • You’re excited to build a brand with your content creation, and social media know-how
  • You’re ready to further apply your skills at a workplace where you can grow and be challenged
  • You have a positive attitude with a thirst for knowledge
  • You’re looking for an outlet for your creativity

What you can do:

  • Assist in creating a social media strategy
  • Apply your strong social and content marketing knowledge to creative campaigns
  • Share awesome content with our customers and engaged followers

Key Responsibilities:

We have three different departments, each with their own social channels. We would like students to:

  • Develop a strategy for each of our social channels with a focus on Twitter, LinkedIn and/or others that may be appropriate for the brand
  • Expand digital presence as well as communicating, marketing and positioning our brand
  • Write engaging and informative blog posts
  • Create campaigns which will generate awareness and develop new opportunities
  • Grow our Social Media followings and engagement
  • Develop a content calendar for posting across all channels
  • Stay attuned to changing media trends and create engaging experiences for our customers

What we are looking for:

  • Willingness to work with the team
  • High level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills
  • Curiosity and willingness to explore new media trends
  • Demonstrated capability with content marketing, SEO, Google Analytics
  • Bring new ideas to the table
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable assessing priorities, good interpersonal skills and judgement
