We are looking for a creative and skilled student with skills in Web Design & Graphic Design with some front end scripting languages like HTML, CSS and Java Script.



The primary objective and deliverables of this project is to assist in revitalizing an existing website and also thinking about a new design for a new media news website. If you are a creative individual with an interest and skills based on web design, graphic design, and some front-end development, we would love to talk to you about bringing our local news website to life!














Livrables

We are seeking a talented and motivated college or university student to join our team as a Web Designer with some front end software development skills. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable real-world experience while working on exciting website projects.


  • Collaborate with the supervisor to design and create visually appealing and user-friendly front-end designs for our existing website website.
  • Also, to design a new media news website with input from the supervisor based on the audience's needs.
  • Understand project requirements and translate design concepts into responsive web pages using a combination of builder website tools, content management systems, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Some proficiency in Webflow. We may use Webflow to build and maintain web content, and design aethetics.
  • Set up new automations and integrations services on existing website.
  • Ensure the website design is user-friendly, responsive, and optimized for performance.
  • Information Gathering: Strong research skills to gather up-to-date information on web design, development, and user experience.


Mentorat

Mentoring: The supervisor will provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to support the student in completing their assigned tasks and projects. The student will be mentored and their voice and input will be heard and supported. In a collaborative professional growth environment, the student will be offered career advice and tips that connect the dots and prepare them for the future workplace. The students will be offered references in recognition for their effort and positive attitude to complete a project. 


Industry Exposure: Work placements expose individuals to the real-world workings of a particular industry. It allows them to observe and understand industry practices, trends, and dynamics. This exposure can help individuals make informed career decisions and gain a deeper understanding of their chosen field.


Software Tools: Access to various software online tools


Skill Development: Work placements provide an opportunity to develop and enhance various skills relevant to a specific field or industry. By working in a professional setting, individuals can learn and practice skills such as communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and time management.
