They will assist our sales team in working on developing our competitive analysis of the market landscape, the sales funnel, gathering information and creating presentations for our sales team to use during client presentations, and taking part in the meetings through zoom to help overcome objections and move customers onto the next stage or help close sales if they are at the buying stage of the sales cycle. They will be assisted by business development interns who will research and schedule meetings with potential clients.
Based on our goals, we are looking for the student to work on the following:
- Analyze the competitive landscape and competitors so we can showcase our advantages over competitors in sales meetings.
- Use information on clients to create compelling sales presentations
- Take part in mock sales meetings in preparation of actual sales meetings
- Support in all stages of the sales cycle
- Develop lists of potential objections prior to sales meetings for our sales team to review
- Assist sales team when needed during sales meetings to help move the customer along the sales funnel
Students will work closely with the primary project manager who is supervising and available for questions. They will be shown how to do a competitor analysis and how to do market research, introduced to our dales cycle and shown how sales meetings are run. This will also include weekly progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary. Regular communication will be conducted via slack.
Compensation: Payment by funder C$1,400.00
