Number of individual students required: 4 students, any Province or Territory, Canada

1000 Towns of Canada 1000towns.ca is a digital platform connecting small town communities and travellers. We launched about 150 unique pages of Top Places to Visit in the Town.

We are looking for social media digital marketing wizards who can help us drive more traffic and improve our positioning. The primary project requirements include:

  1. Content Calendar Execution: Timely deployment of all our social media content to drive maximum traffic to our site
  2. Social Media Management:
  • Creating engaging content for prominent media websites
  • Overseeing different channels that we own and keeping them up-to-date
  • Social media requirements to increase the number of followers/likes and share

3. Working with tools and programs such as Canva, Buffer

4. Keyword analysis to determine relevant search terms to our organization

We’re excited to work with students who can help us brainstorm and execute a digital and social media strategy.

This is a great project for students to prove their digital marketing expertise to future employers, as the impact of their work on this project can be easily measured and communicated.

Mentorat

Students will be supervised by 1000 Towns of Canada Marketing Director. We will have introduction meeting (online), 2-3 consultations during the work and final meeting.
