microsoft word brand style guides microsoft teams graphic design communication pinterest social media apple ios microsoft powerpoint microsoft accessWe are looking to work with one or more ambitious, creative student(s) to update our brand style and improve our web presence at werrv.ca, including website graphic design, colour palette and graphic content, as well as alignment of social media properties to the new brand style guide you will create.
Project Scope
1) Research - Gain familiarity with the context for 2-4 hours (company goals, competitive landscape, industry trends)
2) Brand Style Guide - Produce a Brand Style Guide (including colour schema) iteratively over the duration of the project, starting from concepts and working through experimentation, implementation, validation to a final Version 1.0 Brand Style Guide and accompanying library of reusable assets.
3) Wordmark - Design a company Wordmark (conveying WERRVs message that “We Are RVs”).
4) Website - Update WERRVs Website (wordmark, complete colour palette, layout, graphic & video assets) to create an attractive, intuitive, fast loading, mission focused, mobile responsive website.
5) Social Media - Create and install brand aligned graphics theme for social media properties – Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Linked In, Pinterest and possibly TokTok?
6) Other Assets - Apply the brand to a PowerPoint template; Apply the brand to an MS-Word template for letterhead, etc.
7) Possible (if time permits) extra graphic assets, such as “Gold, Silver, Bronze award medallions”, IOS and Android App Icons, etc.
Our website platform is Shopify and we will give you access to the website and other organizational assets to support this project. Work can be completed remotely and online brainstorming and update meetings can be done via Microsoft Teams, Zoom or other preferred platforms. Timely meeting access and response to questions will be provided, including by text, or on-line communication tools.
1) Introductory Meeting - At the commencement of the project, candidates will be provide with additional background material and engage in an introductory on-line, two-way discussion about WERRV goals, project priorities and opportunities. Candidates are encouraged to ask questions and pitch ideas to maximize their results.
2) Chat/On-line Meetings - Students can ask questions, pitch ideas, request feedback and communicate anything required via chat, screen sharing, on-line, etc. as frequently as required to maintain momentum and maximize results. Timely responses will be provided - generally within minutes or hours and rarely more than 24 hours.
3) Brainstorming and Idea Curation - Candidates can request 1 or more interactive discussions, presentations or brainstorming workshops as they require to meet their targets.
4) Project Milestone Updates - Project update summaries against milestones can be provided by e-mail on a periodic (weekly, or as deemed mutually appropriate.
