Carnival Guide.

We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization.

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:

• Tell its story
• Write creative and accurate copy (e.g., marketing or catalogue copy, unit brochures and inserts)
• Create, edit, and schedule e-blast campaigns as well as manage lists
• Compose tweets, Facebook posts, Instagram stories and other social media writing
• Create communication campaigns to boost brand awareness and online engagement
• Conduct analyses of all social media accounts
• Plan, organize, and coordinate communications and project activities (e.g., develop presentations and marketing materials, create communications logos for upcoming events, etc.)
• Perform data analysis for project proposals and communications reports
• Fact check content for magazines, editorials, annual reports, briefing and event notes
• Revise, copy edit, and proofread documents
• Compose and edit any manner of email communications.
• Write blog articles, email newsletters/sequences and other content pieces on assigned topics
• Assist with a social media video launch to promote our organization
• Evaluate recent successful user-generated campaigns, preferably in our sector
• Identify media outlets that are most beneficial to share our story

Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools.
