Centre Solaris is a charitable organization that caters to low-income families. The organization has launched a program to increase sports participation for equity disadvantaged groups including women, girls, the disabled, and LGBTQ2I+. Solaris is planning to include in its sports programs kids with disabilities.


We are looking for team members to explore and research kids with disabilities and how interactions with the environment affect them, and we start to introduce the concepts of inclusion. The project will include the following activities:


- Research on social barriers that prevent kids with disabilities from participating in sports.

- Strategies to remove the barriers and promote sports participation for kids with disabilities.

We are looking for convincing and persuasive social research and strategy recommendations.

Livrables

This project will involve:

  • Research on social issues and barriers for kids with disabilities to participate in sports.
  • Literature reviews of the existing studies on the subject matter.
  • Writing reports on specific topics related to the subject matter.

The final deliverables should take the form of:

  • A final report
  • 30-minute presentation
Mentorat

We will provide at least 5 hours of mentorship and supervision. Regular recap and goal-setting sessions with students will be conducted.
