The Assessment Buddy is a checklist used by teachers to easily and automatically create student summaries and full paragraphs about the data they have collected. The spreadsheet is quite basic, and we are looking to level up the functionality and appearance of the spreadsheet - which is available on both Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel. The updated sheet will be distributed to 500+ teachers.

The student will update the Assessment Buddy with the following tasks:

• Access the existing spreadsheet on Sheets and Excel and review the formulas to ensure they are as optimized and functional as possible (we have had a few glitches)
• Switch the need to put an X in a cell, and instead switch it to a checkbox
• Alternate colours on the rows using soft pastels to increase readability
• Anchor the column headings so they do not move when the spreadsheet is scrolled

Students who work with our company will always have an initial onboarding meeting to kick off the project, review expectations and get acquainted. Communication will be ongoing throughout the project, with scheduled check-ins to be initiated regularly by the company. Students will be provided, templates, examples, and access to all accounts / insights necessary to be successful with their project.
