Détails

The main goal for the project is to develop a comprehensive business plan tailored to SEEDA, a company focused on reducing the environmental footprint of projects while positively impacting costs and socio-economics. The business plan will be used to raise capital and apply for provincial and federal grants, and will cover all aspects of the company's operations and development.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

- Gathering information about SEEDA's mission, goals, and products from various employees.

- Conducting industry and competitive analysis to understand the target customer and market landscape.

- Developing a detailed product/service plan and marketing strategy.

- Creating a financial plan including sales forecasts, income projections, expense budgets, and break-even analysis.

- Outlining the management team, critical risks, offering, and exit strategy in the business plan.

Livrables

By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:

- A comprehensive business plan for SEEDA including an executive summary, company description, industry analysis, product/service plan, marketing plan, operation and development plan, management team overview, critical risk assessment, offering details, exit strategy, and financial plan.

- A 60-minute presentation explaining the research and findings from the business plan, as well as the rationale behind the strategic decisions made.

- A detailed report outlining the design process and outcomes of the business plan, including all source materials used.
