We would like a new website for our online store. Migrating from Wix to Shopify - utilizing one of their templates but offering customization to enhance the user experience and interface.

The purpose of the store is the sales of merchandise, the proceeds from the sales go back into supporting access to consulting and coaching services (our primary category of work), for marginalized and underrepresented communities pursuing entrepreneurial endeavours. Products sold on the store are also acquired from artisans reflective of those groups.

We would like to work with students to set-up the website for us.

Students should be prepared to:

• Create a design proposal and feature enhancements of the Shopify template using mockups for our company's review.
• Build a fully-functioning website, with our assistance in providing content and copy.

Students will connect directly with the employer for mentorship and supervision throughout the project.

We will provide all resources as well as provide opportunity for the student to advise on goals for learning development and hands on experience they would like integrated into the project.
