Détails

The project aims to explore the landscape of government contracts related to mental health services in Canada and develop a competitive application for Phare, a mental health company. The primary goal is to identify current opportunities where Phare's services can align with government needs and create a compelling proposal. The project will involve researching existing contracts, understanding the criteria for successful applications, and leveraging Phare's strengths to craft a strategic application. This project will enable learners to apply their research and analytical skills, as well as their understanding of mental health policies, to real-world scenarios. The tasks are closely related and designed to be completed by a team of learners from a single academic program, such as public health or health administration.

Livrables

The deliverables for this project include a comprehensive report on current government contracts in mental health, a strategic analysis of Phare's competitive advantages, and a draft application proposal. The report should detail the criteria and requirements for the contracts, while the proposal should outline how Phare can meet these needs effectively. Additionally, a presentation summarizing the findings and recommendations will be prepared for Phare's leadership team.

Phare is an online mental health startup in the digital health services space with 25 counsellors and 125 clients (and growing). Our core product is a marketplace dedicated to an ideal fit between clients with counsellors. Our team has been serving paying clients in need of therapy for more than a year (since June 2020), during which our team has been testing, validating and invalidating hypotheses about its customers on both sides--clients and counsellors--of its marketplace.
