Digital Content about Small Towns of Canada - Phase 3

Number of individual students required: 10 students, any Province or Territory, Canada 1000 Towns of Canada 1000towns.ca is a digital platform connecting travellers and small town communities. In Phase 3, we want students to create content about small Canadian towns not included in 1000 Towns of Canada towns list. It will be focused mostly on places students visited before, or lived, or want to visit. With students' help, we launched more than 400 town pages on 1000towns.ca. To clarify the format, you can check existing pages 1000towns.ca (blue leaves on the map). After approval of the 1000 Towns of Canada team, the final content will be published as unique town pages on 1000towns.ca with the student's name as a creator. If you like the enjoyment of travelling off the beaten path, then we'd love to hear from you.

Edtech Marketing project

Higher education industry is undergoing rapid transformation as everyone adjusts to the sudden advancements in artificial intelligence technology and its widespread adoption. Students are using ChatGPT as a writing calculator and their writing output is exploding. While our first instinct might be to ban these technologies in education, it seems that great change has already taken place and AI is here to stay. Therefore, our view is quite opposite from the knee-jerk reaction of rejecting these tools. We want to make sure that both educators and students learn how to teach and learn with AI, respectively. Ultimately, LLM can empower professors to teach about the latest advancements hidden in the growing body of peer-reviewed publications while also providing activities for students to foster the development of their scientific literacy and critical thinking. The project aims to foster innovation and enhance the intern's entrepreneurial mindset through gaining hands-on experience in content creation, graphic design, and social media management. and contribute to the growth and success of our marketing department. The main goal of this project is to develop compelling and engaging content, including blog posts, articles, social media posts, and other digital assets: - Interns will create engaging content for Omnichannel marketing. -  Interns will utilize their graphic design skills to create visually appealing and on-brand visuals, such as infographics, social media graphics, and promotional materials. - Interns will actively manage our organization's social media platforms, curating and scheduling content, engaging with the audience, and analyzing social media metrics for insights. - The interns will monitor the performance of content and social media initiatives, analyze key metrics, and provide recommendations for optimization. - Interns will collaborate with the marketing team, receiving guidance, feedback, and support throughout the project.

Squash.io is a DevOps platform that allows software developers to quickly deploy their web apps for testing purposes. We currently have many companies in our platform, including names like NASA, Wagtail and New York Public Radio. We would like to collaborate with students to create blog posts that drive more traffic to our website. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our goals, target market, products and services. Recommending topics for our blog posts. Drafting blog posts relevant to our business. Revising blog posts based on feedback. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Recommending ways to market our blog. The blog posts are not going to be technical (i.e, you do not need any knowledge of software development). Our goal is to create blog posts containing statistics or trends related to technology in general. We will provide all the tools you need to do your own research. The only skills you need are: curiosity, ability to research information using the web and writing outstanding content.
