Biomedical / Electrical Engineering Project 2025

This internship aims to provide students with a hands-on opportunity to apply their knowledge in biomedical engineering (or electrical engineering) through a controlled study on non-invasive bone stimulation for fracture risk reduction. The project will focus on data collection, basic data analysis, and report writing, using simulated data or a specific subset of an animal study. KAT Innovation’s Chief Biomedical and Electrical Engineer will assist and guide the intern throughout the internship, ensuring support on data handling and analysis. The project will be tailored specifically to biomedical engineering, making it suitable for learners from a single academic program.

Internship Overview: Mastering Core Accounting Skills This internship offers students the opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge to real-world accounting challenges. The focus is on developing practical skills in key areas of financial management. Focus Areas 1.     Financial Statement Preparation Compile accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. 2.     Financial Forecasting and Analysis Analyze financial data and create forecasts to support decision-making and improve future performance. 3.     Tax Compliance Calculate and prepare corporate, sales, and payroll tax reports in compliance with regulations. Outcome Students will gain hands-on experience, strengthen their accounting skills, and prepare for future roles by solving real-world financial problems.

Biomedical Engineering Project 2024

Our Biomedical Engineering Intern will remotely join our research and development team to contribute to cutting-edge work in bioelectricity and tissue modeling. The main objective is to help validate experimental data related to the conductivity and impedance of biological tissues, applying academic knowledge to real-world problems. The intern will develop skills in data analysis, model simulation, and biological system evaluation, all while supporting the team in integrating theoretical models with practical applications. Activities and Tasks: Analyze experimental data on tissue conductivity and impedance. Create and test electrical models of hip tissue layers. Work with scientists to ensure that the findings align with biomedical standards. Collaborate during various stages of the research and development process.

Internship in Business Administration - 2

KAT Innovation is currently looking for funding to finance its research and operational expenses. The main goal of the internship will therefore be to find financing for the company. By the end of the project, the student will have developed the ability to thoroughly research various business financing options, including venture capitalists, investment funds, private investors, pitch contests, and accelerator programs. They will gain proficiency in filling out application forms, crafting compelling email introductions, and acquiring hands-on experience in managing and tracking applications.
