Talent Attraction Strategy

Overall the energy sector (in particular the business of Oil & Gas production) is challenged with attracting students and younger generations of people to have a career in the energy sector. A pending imbalance of talent supply and demand is approaching and a strategy needs to be developed to support attracting talent to our company. The outlook of the energy sector workforce is that there will be shortages of skilled workers due to a few issues including the aging of the workforce coupled with less interest due to the negative narrative of the industry's future. We would like to collaborate with students to create a talent attraction strategy for Pieridae Energy to support increasing interest and job applicants for our company.

In the completed project, students had the opportunity to explore their course-acquired knowledge through a comprehensive analysis of Talent Attraction Strategies. Throughout the project, they evaluated and provided feedback on the effectiveness of talent attraction strategies specific to the employer's industry and their company. The project allowed students to apply their understanding of talent attraction techniques, recruitment processes, and employer branding in a practical context. It provided them with valuable real-world insights, enriching their comprehension of how these principles were put into action.
