This post-graduate program provides students with a blend of theory, hands-on practical exposure and applied research to benefit business organizations, while allowing the opportunity for students to specialize in their chosen career fields. Projects will be developed by integrating the skills acquired in the program and may involve on-site research and/or third-party industry related projects. Researching and presenting sustainable solutions to business problems are core tenets of this course.


The course positions students as business consultants under the guidance of the professor. Students can take on any business-related problem.

Course Objectives:

·      Root cause analysis of global business opportunities

·      Develop recommendations for future strategic planning for improvement

·      Identify and assess global business best practices

·      Interpret data to define a scope of planning

·      Prepare communication material for a range of audiences

·      Develop interpersonal and leadership skills 

 

Deliverables (by each team):

·      Phase 1 – Problem analysis and work plan/roadmap creation using qualitative and quantitative data, internal analysis of the organization and external factor analysis of the industry

·      Phase 2 – Investigative process, trend identification, evidence-based recommendations

·      Phase 3 – Written reports and verbal presentations of findings and recommendations
