Innovation Project by team of 5 Business Students

Seneca Polytechnic’s Innovation Work-Integrated Learning (InnWIL) program connects a small and medium-sized enterprise (SMEs) with 5 students eager to develop intrapreneurial skills by tackling real-world challenges. These learners bring a strong foundation in problem-solving, research, and project management, along with experience using design and systems thinking methodologies. Five students are connected with an SME who can provide an authentic business challenge and hands-on learning that fosters innovation. SMEs are expected to engage with learners, guide their efforts through a one-on-one, share relevant information, attend the final presentation virtually, and provide constructive feedback via the Riipen platform.

Global Business Development Integrated Strategy

Researching and presenting sustainable solutions to business problems are core tenets of this course. The course positions students as business consultants under the guidance of the professor. Students can take on any business-related problem.
