This course provides students with the opportunity to work with a hands-on project on a relevant topic area. This is an experiential course and it is designed to foster critical thinking and real-time decision-making, with students applying their knowledge and skills to the challenge at hand. We are beginning the Fall semester September 2023, completion will be by mid-December 2023.

We have a confidentiality agreement with all “clients”. In addition, the work becomes the intellectual property of the “client” so we don’t share it with others- it is theirs.

A team of 4-6 graduate level students are selected to work with businesses and non-profit organizations on such things as business plans for start-ups, financial analysis, marketing plans, viability analysis, process improvements, and strategic plans. We use Lean Six Sigma project methodology, when there are problems beyond the scope of the instructor, we draw upon the other professors at CBU to provide expertise.
