More experienced students would have been more approriate.

This project did not start. From my understanding the program was delayed until May 2022, which no longer fit our timeline.

This was a great program to be part of and it allowed our organization to work with students with from all over Canada. We greatly appreciate this opportunity.

I was able to create a great project with the students. I saw how much their presence made a difference.

I really appreciate the ease of working with Venture for Canada and the Entrepreneur Program. Very little hoops to jump through and always very helpful teams to work with.

We appreciated having students help us with some of the ongoing projects in our business. The students for the most part were hard workers, understood our needs and worked hard at delivering a product that we could use.

Great opportunity for students

Quand on a une petite entreprise, on se sent souvent seul et on se retrouve à tout faire avec les moyens qu'on a. L'histoire de cette cohorteétait plus que celle de 2 étudiantes qui avaient un mandat à livrer. CasandraXu et Dorothy Ouellette se sont complètement investies dans le projet, tantelles y croyaient. Elles ont même cru important de mettre sur pied un systèmed'opération qui serait efficace pour un prochain groupe qui suivrait. J'ai mêmeeu le privilège de recevoir l'appui, pendant quelques heures, d'Angela Hormazaet Omoma Eriamiantor, 2 étudiants de la cohorte précédente qui voulaient mieuxpasser le flambeau à Casandra et Dorothy. Je crois que cela parle beaucoup de l'impact de Venture Canada dans lavie des étudiants. Ils réalisent que parfois un mandat peut aussi aller au-delàde nos 70 heures accomplies. Ce projet a commencé tout doucement et connaîtmaintenant une belle ascension. Merci à mes étudiantes et à Venture Canada.

VFC took on our project and matched us with needed students to help our small start up company.

Most students are not putting the effort and time into the projects. VFC needs to do a much better job screening applicants with the right mindset and attitude.

Les trois étudiants qui ont été jumelés à notre projet nous ont épatés! Ils ont saisi rapidement ce que nous avions de besoin et ils nous ont fait des suggestions très adaptées. Ils ont soulevé des points auxquels nous n'avions pas réfléchis. Bref, pour nous, leur travail a été une aide inestimable!

This team had 2 students (out of 4 ) active on the project. The 2 students worked well as a team to lever each other's findings and methods to improve their presentation materials, pitch and report - in the end worked out. Would be great to have the program 6 weeks instead of 4 and to have students work to completed milestone timelines for their time sheets (was asked who approves their time sheets and how that works). Would be great to have students who decide to not show or drop out to let both the client and VFC know right away by email and ripen (sometimes messages are not in my email) of their commitment do or show up for the project.

This team of women were amazing! They supported me, Dimension 11 and each other. Together they were able to find solutions to the challenges posed. Each was forthright in asking questions and providng input to find those solutions. When not available for a meeting they were all respectful of each other and me in lettting us know so we could find alternative dates and times. The project has been completed with numerous small to medium sized employers the world over being contacted. Each of these women will receive an individual testimonial letter they can use in any supportive ways they deem feasible.

This is a great program that provides capacity to SMEs and at the same time some very valuable (PAID!) experience to students.

Overall Agrégat is very happy with the VFC program, candidates and result. The deliverables are extremely useful for our small organization.

The 3 students that were involved were very active during the first 3 weeks, however, they did not complete the tasks during the last 3 weeks.

We appreciated the opportunity to have a student work with us on a very specific project. We loved the opportunity VFC provided through their intrapreneurship program. We would recommend this program to other businesses.

VFC is a good program. The student did not join this particular project, but I have other projects that are running smoothly. Thank you.
