The objective of this project is to improve the usability, functionality, and overall design of the Agora Tutoring platform by addressing specific bugs, errors, and graphical inconsistencies identified in our recent UI/UX usability report. Students will also develop and implement new features to enhance the platform's user experience for both tutors and students.
Project Activities:
Bug Fixes:
- Identify and resolve errors in the frontend (React/Next.js-based) and backend (Node.js/Express with Apollo GraphQL).
- Address issues with WebSockets for real-time notifications and ensure MongoDB queries via Mongoose are optimized.
UI/UX Enhancements:
- Revise graphical components based on the UI/UX report's recommendations.
- Update and test layout designs for mobile responsiveness and accessibility improvements.
- Integrate feedback mechanisms for continuous usability improvements.
Feature Development:
- Implement suggested functionality, such as more intuitive navigation tools or enhanced map features (Google Maps integration).
Testing and Documentation:
- Conduct unit and integration testing for all updates and features.
- Provide documentation for implemented solutions, including code comments and an update log.
