Esports Company Rebranding Initiative

Esports How initially started off as a regular blog that later scaled into a B2B consultancy. As of 2022, due to environmental changes in the esports business landscape, we've made the decision to make a business reposition into the careers training and employment sector of esports. Due to the nature of how this company evolved, our current branding and messaging require a complete overhaul. We're interested in having students involved in supporting our rebranding process and helping us in creating a new face for our company. What makes this initiative exciting is that you will have a lot of flexibility in the direction you take the initiative. This also acts as a very strong portfolio item, especially for those interested in finding employment in the esports industry. Not to mention this is a great learning experience, since you’ll work directly with the business owner and Marketing Manager. They’ll educate you on the direction you should take but you’ll have a large degree of freedom to push your creative ability. You’ll also learn more about how we use replicable assets to reduce the overall workload in future ventures and the value of documentation. Project Deliverables You’ll be working directly with the business owner and Marketing Manager to brainstorm, draft, and implement the rebranding strategy. The specific deliverables include: Modify the vision and mission statement for the company to ensure its concise, clear, and represents the company effectively. Redesign of the company logo and colour scheme that best convey the company’s vision and mission. Create a new brand guideline document. Redesign banner for the company’s social media platforms (Twitter, eFuse, Discord, Reddit) and template banners for employee/intern/volunteer social media accounts. Redesign Discord channel layout and graphics. Create new social media templates for posts. Create a website wireframe for website’s pages and theme for article pages. Implement wireframe changes into the website using Elementor, Thrive Architect, or any other no-code website builders that are compatible with WordPress. *Deliverables are subject to change based on the number of total students interested and the technical abilities of each student. Depending on the students, we may spend extra time training which may require a decrease in the scope of certain deliverables. Workload may be balanced with employees to ensure the project is complete before March 31, 2022. Additionally, we will: Spend some time getting to know you better, you’re future desires, and provide some mentorship on progressing your career (as our company formally does). Educating you on our company, business model, future projections, and understanding the culture of a startup company. Educate you about our systems that’ll aid you throughout this project. If you’re interested in esports, marketing, and branding, this opportunity is perfect for you – although those interests aren’t required. What is required is a hunger to learn and grow through this venture. Additional technical abilities such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and other graphic design tools will be a benefactor to prospective applicants, but all applicants don’t require these skills. We have a great, casual culture that focuses on creating win-win relationships and improving the talents of others. If you’re excited to join us on this venture, then we'd love to hear from you. Join up either as a team or as an individual; we're looking for up to 4 students for this project.
