Number of positions available: 3-5 students ( individually or in teams) Our organization is able to offer a virtual internship opportunity for 3-5 marketing students or teams. The primary focus for the student will be: Marketing Communications - create an integrated marketing campaign Public Relations - Develop and implement a PR strategy; create collateral, including press releases, user testimonials, case studies, and customer stories. Strategic Social Media Marketing - Develop and implement strategies for improving our online presence and increasing engagement; create a content calendar; creating useable social media and blog posts. Our goal at the end of this experience is: Branding and Marketing Communications - For the student(s) to help us improve our brand's presence and capture greater market share. Public Relations - For the student(s) to help us effectively communicate our brand's story and mission to a broad audience. FoundersBoost Vancouver - Accelerator Program Management + Marketing
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: FoundersBoost (a partner of Techstars) is a mentor-driven pre-acceleration program that runs for 6 weeks and we take no fees or equity from startups. Our goal is to prepare early-stage startups in Vancouver/BC for accelerators, seed investors, and revenue by providing pitch coaching and mentorship during the program as well as connections to accelerators and VCs after the program. Founders Boost helped over 300+ startups from 15+ cities around the world raise $85 million in funding in the past 4 years. Careerin is using videos and online events to help candidates learn more about tech companies, their mission, culture, and people in the teams so they can find the companies that they are aligned with. During the online career fair, companies will have founders or hiring managers that talk about what their companies are about in videos and they will have online meeting sessions with candidates that are interested in joining them. Candidates can create a self-intro video on our platform that can be accessed by the companies that they are interested in, so they can tell their stories in person in the video instead of being another resume in the pile. The career insights sessions can help students or people that are new to the tech industry to learn about the different career paths, while the best practices sessions are good for professional development and experience sharing with their peers in the tech industry. Students will help us in organizing and running our monthly Careerin Tech online event.
