This is a great opportunity for students to experience the next era of corporate legal services by supporting law firms and legal teams in using an innovative corporate entity management platform. Students will be supported in: Assisting Athennian users in learning how to leverage the Athennian application to be more efficient and successful. Responding to user support requests with strategic solutions. Preparing documents relating to incorporation, organization, amendments, reorganizations, continuances, and amalgamations. Preparing and arranging for filing of extra-provincial registrations and updating documents. Preparing documents related to share transactions including the issuance of share certificates, and updating registers. Conducting minute book reviews and preparing necessary documents to bring minute books up-to-date. Strategic AI & Machine Learning Application

Details Athennian is a growing tech start-up which has a cloud platform for legal entity management. We would like to collaborate with students to strategically apply AI and machine learning methodologies to data migration. This is a great learning opportunity to solve a real-world problem and will allow our company to onboard new customers more efficiently. Athennian receives unstructured data related to various legal entities from different customer sources. This data needs to be extracted and converted into a structured csv format for compatibility with our in-house software. Students should be prepared to: Apply machine learning methodologies to identify relevant data from various PDF and Word documents. Automate the process for extracting relevant data and mapping it into a structured data format. Design processes and test cases to ensure improvement in the accuracy of the tool over time. Athennian has over 250 variables that may be identified for extraction, of various data types including names, dates, addresses, numbers, and string text. There is meta-data for the documents that can impact the ability to detect the structure of the data, including the type of document being interpreted and the legal entity type the document belongs to.

Artificial Intelligence - Sales Forecasting Analysis

This project will involve analyzing existing CRM data points to predict the likelihood of a sales deal to close. Data points to analyze: - Deal Owner (Who is responsible for the deal, how long they have been with our company etc.) - Prospect Data (industry, location, current competitor product they are using etc.) - # of Touch Points (meetings, emails, calls) - Prospective Deal size ($$) We would like you to construct a sales forecast on our behalf, based on their analysis.
