In this role I was responsible for the well-being and safety of students within my community and
all over campus. I worked to create a comfortable, safe and supportive atmosphere for students,
where they could grow and learn. Due to the nature of this role, I have learned to counsel
individuals who were agitated, intoxicated, or otherwise upset. It also provided an opportunity
for me to mentor and guide students adjusting to post-secondary education and living on their
own within shared accommodations. Further, I was responsible for tours of both residence and
my program, showing prospective students the best the school had to offer them

This small business takes landfill bound plastics, cleans them, shreds them and turns them into new, useful products through injection moulding.

Each different product is paired with an animal rehabilitation group and a portion of the proceeds goes to supporting wildlife that has been negatively impacted by humans.

The goal is to reduce plastic heading to landfill and show consumers that there are alternatives to virgin goods.
