Working with NL Eats Community Outreach Inc. on the Agritech Educational Strategy Development project has been a highly rewarding and meaningful experience. As part of the Outreach Team, I had the opportunity to engage directly with potential partners, develop customized communications strategies, and contribute to building a stronger bridge between education and industry in Canada’s agri-tech sector. The NL Eats team fostered a collaborative, mission-driven environment where clear communication, creative problem-solving, and strategic thinking were encouraged and valued. I especially appreciated the strong sense of purpose in the work—focused on empowering youth, supporting sustainability, and addressing gaps in the agri-tech workforce. Thank you for the opportunity to contribute to your company’s n8n workflow project. Working within the parameters of our own credits and free-tier resources provided valuable insights into both the strengths and limitations of the n8n platform, particularly regarding feature access, execution speed, and workflow scalability. Despite some resource-related constraints, such as the need for Canva’s Enterprise API, this project deepened our understanding of optimizing AI automation in a cost-conscious environment and highlighted the expenses associated with the current AI landscape. Additionally, our exploration of n8n’s new support for MCP (Model Context Protocol) allowed us to evaluate its potential for streamlining AI tool integration and task automation. However, we identified security concerns related to node management that warrant careful consideration moving forward. I hope that our research—including our findings on MCP node management security—and the additional workaround information we provided will be helpful for the next team. I am grateful for the opportunity to support your team during such an exciting time for AI automation.

It was a pleasure working with Saif from NL Eats. It was a great chance for me to put into practice the skills I have acquired from CoLab.

As a Career Counsellor student, working with NL Eats on the R2ASP Educational Initiative through Level UP was a meaningful and enriching experience. The project allowed me to apply what I’ve learned in a real-world context, especially in designing a practical Career Coaching Framework tailored to the agri-tech sector. Mehnaz was an outstanding point of contact—encouraging, responsive, and always open to new ideas. I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute to a program with such a strong social impact and would absolutely recommend this organization to other students and collaborators.
