AHM Care Connect AI Triage System

Ancestral Hands Midwives (AHM) aims to enhance patient care and safety by developing AHM Care Connect, an AI-driven triage system. The primary goal is to provide 24/7 access to midwifery support, guiding clients on whether to seek urgent care or wait to contact their provider. This system is designed to improve patient safety, reduce unnecessary ER visits, and enhance overall care satisfaction. The project will involve creating a user-friendly interface, integrating AI algorithms for accurate triage, and ensuring data privacy and security. The learners will apply their classroom knowledge in AI, healthcare systems, and user experience design to develop a functional prototype.

Fundraising Merchandise Design 2023

Ancestral Hands Midwives is looking to diversify our revenue by creating our own line of Afrocentric merchandise. We believe this project will require: Develop merchandise designs (Ex. t-shirt designs, African prints) Create digital mock-ups Create electronic marketing designs and templates Assist with research and initial steps of setting up an e-commerce site The final deliverables include: File of finalized designs and merchandise mock-ups 1 Marketing campaign including post and reel templates We are excited to work with students who support our mission and want to have fun creating unique merchandise. Social enterprise marketplace setup

At Womb & Wellness we aim to take the work and worry out of finding maternity services. To help our customers easily access the care they need we are looking for student assistance to build our maternity services marketplace and populate it with a provided list of registered providers & services. Students would be expected to: Familiarize themselves with the Sharetribe Go platform Customize the marketplace look & feel using provided images and colour palettes Create profile pages for existing service providers and setup available services Launch the marketplace so that it is available for our current and prospective users Review visitor data (using Google Analytics) and A/B test changes to optimize marketplace conversion Time permitting, investigate available options for integrating Sharetribe marketplaces with Wordpress sites and provide an implementation plan that will allow users to navigate between our informational Wordpress site and our Marketplace If you have the right combination of skill and passion we'd love to work with you.
