Digital Assets Manager for Book Publishing
Digital Assets Manager About Company We offer clients boutique publishing services to create beautifully designed books. Our clients include individuals, companies and organizations. Project Scope Number of individual students required: 4 students The Digital Assets Manager will ensure that files are collected and sent in the correct format to our designers and marketing departments, help organize files within ClickUp, create workflows, and handle metadata entries. These will also include writing subheaders, a short descriptive excerpt (1-3 sentences), 200-300 character SEO descriptions, and appropriate tags and categories for blog posts post. SEO programs are provided. The digital assets manager will also input metadata information and upload files to distribution platforms, printers, and cataloguing platforms. Qualifications Knowledge of ClickUp and metadata is a plus but can be learned during the internship. There is a lot of room for creativity and input. Written Content Manager
We are looking for a student with excellent organizational skills to manage the content that we create. Content will primarily be for blog posts, email marketing, brand stories, books, and podcasts. There will be the opportunity to write for some projects for students interested in writing. Primary tasks include: liaise with/manage writers schedule blog posts for publication ensure all copy is fully proofed and edited before publication ensure all tags, metadata, and descriptive blurbs (short and long) are associated with the post ensure there are approved graphics for each post optimize assets (images/video/audio files) for each channel/platform where written content will be published coordinate written content (and associated assets such as images/video/audio) between all the channels/platforms (e.g. blog, Medium, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook etc.) edit/optimize content/tags/links for each piece of written content depending on the channel/platform manage text for press releases manage text for one-sheets manage text for book jacket blurbs manage and distribute written communications materials as needed to Digital Asset Manager marketing and design teams so that everyone has the approved versions of all The student will report directly to our senior editor and have access to all team members and resources. Press Release Creation
We want to be recognized in our community and nationally for the work that we are doing. We have a great story to tell and we want it to be picked up by media outlets. We need students to create press releases for us. Students should be prepared to: Help us refine our story to something compelling and news-worthy Write up press releases around multiple news-worthy stories Identify media outlets that are most beneficial to us/most likely to pick the story up. Send press releases and establish positive rapport with media contacts Secure media exposure for our organization. Interest in the music and publishing industries as well as personal development is a plus.
Online Store Website Updates
The main goal for this project to to put the finishing touches on our Shopify website to enable us to fully move from WordPress to shopify. To complete this project, the following tasks will need to be achieved: 1. Update listings on shopify with product descriptions, categories / tags etc from Revel. 2. Update the menu and ensure all products are categorized appropriately. 3. Update current word press blog posts with new product links and migrate them to Shopify. 4. Create pages on shopify to replace Wordpress pages.
Website hosting transfer
It is time for us to redevelop our website to a modern format, mobile accessible. We would like to work with students to develop a new website for us and transfer our domain registration from pointstreak to squarespace Students should be prepared to: Week 1 Conduct a needs analysis with stakeholders to determine which features are currently used and which are missing. Week 2 Create a design proposal based on features identified above, and copying the format of a similar site we wish to emulate. Week 3 Build a fully-functioning website, with our assistance in providing content and copy. Week 4 Transfer domain registration and configure email accounts etc through the new hosting platform. Provide training on updating and maintaining the site.
Business Administration Task Management Set-up for Social Media Agency
The primary focus for the student will be: Operations - Recommend process improvements or redesign processes; develop improvements to task processes; introduce quality assurance into our internal processes. Take us from our current platform, Hive PM, and move us to a platform like Asana. Ensure all tasks are set up and templated. Integrate the platform with our other systems like calenders, Dubsado, website, etc.
