Leigh Cassell is a mom, educator, adventurer, and entrepreneur. She is a partner in learning with teachers, students, businesses and NGOs around the world. Leigh is an Innovation Consultant, and Founder and CEO of Digital Human Library. Leigh is a dynamic influencer and reflective practitioner, highly skilled in building networked learning communities in ways that facilitate relationships for learning, build critical digital literacies, cultivate emotional intelligence and nurture leadership in education.
Leigh studied English Literature at the University of Western Ontario. She graduated with an HBA, and then completed a 2 year B.Ed Program at Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, NS. Leigh has received the highest level of awards from the Ontario Public School Board Association, the Ontario Library Association, and the Ontario Teachers Federation, and she has been recognized internationally by Apple, Microsoft and Google for her innovation in education.

The Digital Human Library aims to enhance its accessibility and user experience by converting its existing website into a mobile app. This project involves using the Natively platform to create a seamless mobile application that retains the core functionalities of the website while leveraging native mobile features. The goal is to ensure that users can access the Digital Human Library's resources conveniently on their mobile devices. The project will require testing key functionalities such as push notifications, in-app purchases, location services, and universal links to ensure they work effectively in the mobile environment. By the end of the project, the app should be ready for publication on both the App Store and Google Play, expanding the library's reach and engagement with its audience.

Marketing Content Creation for Education Company
Digital Human Library is looking for students to creating a marketing plan, and marketing content aligned to the plan that is consistent with our vision, mission, and sector. Students have a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. Students will be working on a marketing plan for our company to build awareness about Digital Human Library in the public library market. Students will also create marketing content which will be used in email campaigns and on social media. Time permitting, students would work on other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools.

Public Library Outreach for New Educational Resource
Digital Human Library (dHL) is looking for an individual(s) to conduct research about the public library market, source and record contract information for public libraries in the dHL database, and lead outreach activities with public libraries to build awareness about dHL's Virtual Tours and Virtual Reality experiences. Interns will be invited to join public libraries and the dHL team for learning sessions about how virtual tours and virtual reality experiences are being used for teaching, learning, enjoyment, and skill building. This position will help students develop their online research skills, communication and collaboration skills, digital literacy skills, technology skills, and global competencies. Digital Human Library (dHL) brings people together in service of youth and learning.
