Virtual Work Integrated Learning Opportunities - Event Planning

Work Integrated learning (WIL) is the key to career success. WIL is experiential learning at its best. The School of Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts (SHTCA) at Centennial College believes that students develop and hone their skills when exposed to hands on learning. By completing a project for or participating in virtual placement with an Employer Partner, you are providing our students the opportunity to start their careers with tremendous momentum. Special Event Planning students looking for opportunities to showcase their learning through a capstone project; will be responsible for planning and executing exciting events for the college community and industry partners. Students will work closely with faculty supervisors, college staff and industry partners during their project.

Among these areas will be front desk management, housekeeping operations, food and beverage management, and human resources planning.
