New Product Design: Prototype

Studentboard is creating a comprehensive platform to build, sell, and teach courses, and collaborate globally. The student(s) will research and develop a prototype, focusing on various products. We believe this project will require: Researching existing products and functions (simple, easy to use, minimizing clicks and pages). Developing a prototype of a recommended product design by completing UX and UI work. Figma will be the main prototyping tool used due to easy accessibility and collaboration ability. The final deliverables include: A prototype of the recommended design for a product. As the platform will have many moving parts, we will work with the student(s) in week one and two to identify a project outline based on contract length and time commitment. Potential products fall under five main modules including the following: Instructor and institution user profile: includes introduction page, course builder, enrolment management, and teaching tools Student profile: introduction profile (to add skills, education, interests etc.), and a place to enrol in and pay for courses, and learn. Landing page and Marketplace: Students search for courses, institutions, or instructors using basic search bar, filtering, and finding promoting courses. Peer to peer collaboration tool Four modules will be broken down into sub-tools that each student team will focus on based on student availability. Prototyping may occur on Figma or any other chosen software the student/team is interested in using. Studentboard Inc. will pay for appropriate tools required. Level up provides a $1400 stipend to each student: Studentboard seeks students interested in working 60-70 core hours (approximately $20-$23 per hour) with additional hours dedicated to mentorship and team networking. Work will occur on a part time basis and is flexible based on the student's schedule. One to two meetings (maximum of 2-4 hours total per week) will need to be attended for mentorship, team check-ins, and reporting on work progress (included within the 80 hours max). Slack and Zoom will be used to communicate, casual work attire, and students may be located anywhere in Canada (remote work)!

Recently we realized that optimizing our website on their platform for the necessary loading speed and content that meets Google's requirements for AdWords for Non Profits is hard to achieve because we are novices at html coding. The goals of the project are to: Conduct a needs analysis to determine if the Wild Apricot platform is suitable. This analysis should determine if the web-engine available is adequate to achieve the results needed and if the membership and contact management modules similarly are adequate to meet our needs. If Wild Apricot looks to be suitable then perform revisions: Optimize loading time Redevelop web-pages to enable video, blog and LinkedIn embedding Redesign our visual look: Make our website look stunning, professional, inviting! Perform Search Engine Optimization Optimize the membership application, member profiles, membership approval and membership communication Design the visual look of member communication based on the new visual look you have developed for the website In addition to the work on the Wild Apricot site implement a solution for an accessible catalog of existing academic papers, newspaper articles and other media that would be available behind a paywall to our members. PROJECT DESCRIPTION Careerin Tech Society is a non-profit that helps people develop their careers in the tech sector. Careerin is organizing online career fairs to connect tech talents open for new jobs and tech companies that are hiring and we also invite tech professionals to share career insights or best practices in different topics. Careerin is using videos and online events to help candidates learn more about tech companies, their mission, culture, and people in the teams so they can find the companies that they are aligned with. During the online career fair, companies will have founders or hiring managers that talk about what their companies are about in videos and they will have online meeting sessions with candidates that are interested in joining them. Exponential Organizational Moonshot Support Project

This project consists of four distinctive roles which need to be filled. ROLE #1 | Blockchain DAO Role Development This is a unique opportunity to learn more about Roles and Governance within a Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAO) built on the blockchain. We are looking for an intern who is interested in studying blockchain-based organizational governance and roles. This is a great opportunity for you to work with a team researching and learning about blockchain technology. This project provides a challenging opportunity to shape a critical function with an early-stage, global startup. The student will interface primarily with the COO, and can expect to collaborate also with the Founder and other members of the Core team. ROLE #2 | Write DRAFT Regen Ag White Paper This is a great opportunity to learn and do a dive deep into how to transform the global food supply chain by enabling bioregional rural farming communities to thrive through the integration of regenerative agriculture farming practices which are fully integrated into a local food supply ecosystem. See an example of what we envision except applied toward regenerating the ocean here - part 1 , part 2 , part 3 . Since the core research has already been done, you will be drawing from a number of already collected reports. Little to no extra research required. We require independent self-starters who help us go from zero to running. It’s a unique opportunity to build something new and have a huge impact with a team working to drive change at the intersection of food and climate. This project provides the opportunity to communicate the critical role regenerative agriculture has in solving so many of the global issues the planet is facing today. You will be part of an early-stage, global startup. You will interface primarily with Core Team members, and can expect to collaborate with many other members of our global team. ROLE #3 | MIT Innovation Lab - Administration Support This is a unique opportunity! Planetary CARE has been accepted by MIT's Innovation Lab. You will learn about Otto Sharmer’s Theory U methodology and participate in a prototyping project on how to transform the global food supply chain by enabling bioregional rural farming communities to thrive through the integration of regenerative agriculture farming practices which are fully integrated into a local food supply ecosystem. Skills needed: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; self-starter; detail oriented; works well alone and with others. ROLE #4 | Admin & Bookkeeper - Setup QuickBooks Online Help us Launch our Global Brand! We have three years of data covering the activities of 20+ people on a monthly basis with the amount of time, program and task they completed plus the billing amount for these. We need all of this data to be input into our online QuickBooks. This will be done with the support of our Founder and COO. Upon completion of this project, there are other smaller administrative projects needed to support the work of Planetary CARE and our upcoming DAO launch. Planetary CARE is rapidly building out our global launch program, broadening our reach from a core crew out to our global network and beyond. To do this, we’ll be activating a new website, social media tools, newsletters, and more.
